I've always been an SL fan boy. I love the way it looks the way it sounds the premium feeling of everything, but I always thought of this car being out of reach and too expensive. paying $150K for a car just seems out of reach. however my Mercedes broker has a lease offer on the 2022 SL55 for only $860/mo and the 2022 SL63 is $1370/mo which is way more obtainable in my opinion. I would only get 7500 miles per year which is more than enough considering I would only really drive it on the weekend and maybe special occasions. I can get the FOMO (Fear of missing out) out of my system and I can proudly say I owned an SL which would be a dream come true. I don't think I would want to keep it past the 36 month period.
What are your guys thought on this? Should I hold off until I can afford to buy one? Or should I get a lease and by the time Im ready to settle down I can get a more practical car.
