Default Lugnut - I know you're there!.. please help re bumper removal

hi: I've just crawled out from under my car (96 sl500) and need your help... How do I get my front bumper off? I've got the side bracket bolts off, and the clips that are visible from underneath undone, but something is holding it at the top. Any diagrams or verbal hints you can pass on?
thanks!

I dunno. I can recommend a good Scotch whiskey if that will help.

If you wait until tomorrow sleepwalker will have answered you. I think he's either asleep or passed out right now.

Not really a Scotch drinker anymore - had one of those nasty adolescent episodes where we ran out of tequila and did lemon / salt /scotch instead (Pinch, if I recall correctly). Now even the smell makes me turn green.

Maybe someone else can fill in for Sleepwalker... ?

scotch salt and lemon? that taste a little more than ron97 gasoline. with gin, yes.

on this freezing weather, tequila is still the best.

Why ruin a good Scotch by adding salt and lemon, or anything for that matter? Mainline Scotch. Yeah, baby.

Tequilla smells bad. I don't understand how can anybody drink that stuff. It's like chewing on Dick Butkus' socks after a game.

R- I told you he'd come through for you.

Thanks Sleepwalker ! This definitely helps...
As to the Scotch, keep in mind we (3 of us) finished 2 bottles of tequila first, and this had a numbing effect on the cogitator. In searching for additional octane, only the Pinch was close to hand. We were celebrating the end of Christmas exams. Good thing we didn't have to think for a while!

i have been there.

but only got 3 beers and 4 double shot of tequila. while sitting, i seems to be perfectly sane. but by the time i stand up, the world starts to revolve the other way around.

i was only able to insert the key on my jeep, and the next thing i knew it was morning already.

A buddy and I both passed out in a drive-in theater after drinking too much beer mixed with wine. Yeah, beer and wine in the same glass. There were half a dozen people banging on the windows of the car trying to wake us up. We had the only car left in the drive-in and I guess those folks wanted to go home.
