Thought maybe you guys would like to be the first to see the images of Lorinser's Face-lifted SL-Roadster.

Really aggressive body kit I think. The front and rear look great. The side skirts may have been a tad bit over done, but that's just me. Also notice a re-designed trunk lid spoiler that is raised a bit off the trunk this time.

If you notice the driver's side wheels, they're the RS9 wheels originally used on the SUV's, but in 20". Word is that they're planning offering them in 19", 20", and 21's.

as a 57 yr old fart, I likethe sl just as they are. Classic. Classy. I hate to mess with art. I don't mind changing wheels,butno one make as pretty a car as Mercedes, especially the sl. Now ifI was 27, my perspective might be different and would probably totalthe caralong with myself.

 

You make complete sense. My father (70 yrs. old) drives a Mercedes, and he won't even let me put a new set of wheels on the car.

I am almost 30 and love modifying my vehicles. Mercedes is a beautiful machine on its own, but I don't want to look like every other Mercedes that's on the road. And in Southern California, that is a lot of Mercedes on the road.

Anyway, I think this is the great thing about opinion and taste. Everyone has one, and they're all different. That's why I love hearing the different thoughts.
