Default LH directional rotor used on both sides?

I have an 03 SL500R.
I called the dealer to get RH and LH cross drilled directional rotors. and I was told they only sell the LH direction and put them on both sides... I laughed, but the new cars are sold this way. I ran downstairs to look at my car, and it is so. But the RH blades are turning the wrong direction. How can this be? I thought someone was playing a prank on me. Even a VW has proper RH LH rotors.

Does anyone know of an MB car that has R&L hand rotors I can use on my car. Or an aftermarket "upgrade" that is proper LH RH. WHYmake them directional if they are only going to makeone side?
