Ok, we have had much discussion on hyrdraulic leaks (mine is a 95 320SL) I had the ever present leak in the locking mechanism and replaced the part with no problem (thanks all). But now I have a hydraulic leak of a different sort. When testing the soft top's operation, I noticed that I almost immediately ran out of fluid. I waited a few days and tried it again. One use of the top (in my case, putting it up) will almost completely drain the resevoir of fluid. I found where it is leaking 9at least where it is coming out). It is right behind the passenger side door. Between the wheel and door. It is coming out profusely. Any one have any ideas???? Your help is always appreciated!
