Help Identifying wheel
I'm new to this forum and looking for a little help. I own a 2003 SL55 that was an off-lease car I purchased on 2006. It came with a set of 20 in. wheels of unknown origin. Thanks to the fine roads of So Cal I have cracked one of my front wheels ( a hairline crack on the inside rim edge). I'm now faced with a repair/replace decision.
I need advice on two fronts, does anyone know the origins or brand name of these wheels? My fronts are 20X8.5 JJ. There are a couple of other markings on the wheel but no brand name and the numbers when researched have yielded nothing. If I could find a new wheel and the price were reasonable I'd prefer the new wheel. Who knows where else it's been weakened.
If it has to be repaired does anyone know of a wheel repair option located in the Los Angeles area? If I have to ship it off somewhere is there a preferred choice in terms of quality and turn around? No spare as you SL people know so the car will have to sit!
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Bryan
