Hi all,

I picked up this hard top in an auction and have no idea what model it goes to. Going to clean it up and sell it to a good home if I can find out what model it fits. Any help would be appreciated.

PS. I got a couple of responses, but they said they were either the 230,450 or the 380, 560 so i still don't know for sure.

From the looks of your pictures it belongs to an older SL (1976-1990). I do not know the exact chassis number but I think it is 126 chassis. I do know a new top is around $ 4,000.00 but do not really have a feel for an older model top. I would be comfortable in asking $1,500.00 and negotiate from there.

 

It looks like a 107 body top. 107's include 350, 450, 380, 500, and 560SL

I've seen them advertised from $ 500.00 to about $ 1200.00 depending on condition.
