Default fuse panel location 1983 SL

Hi,

I just joined this forum today to help diagnose some fuel problems for our 1983 sl.
I don't have a manual and was wondering where the fuse panel is. Don't worry, I'm laughing with you!

On my 83 tdt it was in the engine compartment, under the windshield, firewall on driver side.

Great! I'll look there, hopefully they're the same. Thanks!

Usually in Pasenger's footwell on an SL, just forward of the door.

I agree with slmonkey. There will be a small cover over the top of it.

What fuel problems do you have?

Well, it had been running fine 'til one morning it wouldn't hit. I shot a little ether to see if it would try to start. It acted like it was getting a spark. I thought maybe the fuse for the fuel pump bit the dust. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
