I removed the dash vent and the eyeglass holder and installed one screw in the eyeglass holder compartment and reinstalled the center vent. I closed the eyeglass compartment and now it wont open.
is there anyway to get this compartment opened so I can try and adjust it so it opens like before. I tried a plastic wedge but am afraid I might breake it Thanks Jimbo

I would suggest getting the 5 piece or 11 piece trim tool set; they were made exactly for removing interior, plastic pieces.

I had the same problem the other day. Find a really thin piece of metal (i used a screwdriver) and stick it between the lock and button and jiggle gently. Push button to open.
