Hello everyone! I own a 2003 SL500 and I was driving to work about two days ago and ESP Light came on and since the "ESP OFF" switch is located right by the gearbox could it be that by accident I my have had my arm over it and by accident maybe just activated because I was able to turn it off right away but its weird that it came on and I was able to manually turn it off. Can you please let me know what could it be because I read some threads and some people had problems in their ML, E, CLK, and even S but didn't hear any complains from any SL owners so please can you let me know what could be problem? Would it be advisable to take it to the dealer? and is expensive to fix this stupid malfunction? The only thing is that I don't have any warranty left on this car so I'm kind of scared to take it to the dealer and paying ridiculous money for this malfunction. I will be waiting for a reply......thanks
