Default ESP LIGHT ON A CLK500

sometimes my esp light goes on and in the display it states take it to the service shop for service. does anyone have a reason why.
(i think its cause of my brother's hes 6-4 275lbs and every time hes in my pas seat the light comes on, then about a couple of times later the light doesnt come on till he comes in the car, i think the shocks are giveing the single.

his weight must have confused the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.

but that shouldn't happen. it's the same thing as having 4 people in the car?

is it not the SRS light?

as i said, it can't be the ESP light.

the problem was coming from the MAT sensor (passenger recognition seat sensor).

the material is made of soft plastic and it also have some kind of signal to detect the metal from the child seat (similar to the key ring...transponder).

it will only deactivate his airbag... yours is still okay. let the passenger use seatbelt just 'n case.
