Convertible top stops half way
Hi guys,
I have a 2000 SL500 and just took it out from winter storage. After charging the battery, I tried to lower the convertible top. The cycle started with the windows rolling down, the rear hatch opening, and the rear window part flipping up, but then it stops. Indicator light blinks red and no more noise is heard.
Any suggestions on how to proceed?
Thanks!

Well that was simple!
I did a little research in this forum and it said someting if your battery goes dead, your windows need syncronizing. I thought something was up when the window went half way down when the passenger door was opened, just after I charged the battery.
I syncro'd the windows and the top came down fine!
Now I just need to find out where they hide the radio codes!!
