My regular brake lights are working but the high "third light" on trunk lid is not. I have checked and replaced 1 bulb. Found that other brake lights do not work unless key in "on" position (is this normal?)and of course, stepping on brake. Any ideas? Separate fuse? how to get to wire? after it leaves trunklid

 

you have a broken wire in the area of the right trunk lid hinge at the back of the trunk lid. you must peel back the shething to see the wires. it could be the left side hinge but im almost sure it would be the right side.
