RE: brake dust
What's the best way to reduce the brake dust that I get everytime I drive my SL?

Purchase the Kleenwheels product that resemble "bowls" with slits that sit inside your wheels prior to mounting them.
I have them on my E320 and I now save approx $20 per month (as well as quite a bit of aggravation) from not having to buy and apply as much Orange Blast wheel cleaner - and they look awesome. I have the full -face 10 slot factory wheels so you can't really notice them. Some of the wheels that have large openings may make them more noticable. Also, there are rumors that they do not permit your pads to breathe, but that's simply nonsense. Here's a link:

RE: brake dust
MB is one of the worst for break dust, do yourself a favor and stop buying US pads for your car, Germany offers much better pads for the car and they produce a normal amount of break dust. You can easily find German parts on the net and they don't cost much more than US parts but they are a much better value!
