Battery for remote for 2001 SL????
Prefer not to go to dealer for this. Battery on remote must be getting weak as I have to be right next to car for doors and trunk to unlock. Anybody know how to replace the battery and which battery it takes????

Piece of Cake. Replace batteries in both of my remotes.
IT takes 2 batteries that are CR 2025. You can buy these at most Walmart or Drug stores.
Simply pry off the back half of the key and replace both batteries.
