Can someone please tell me the location of my 2 batteries (Starter one and the component /accessory) on my 2017 SL 63 AMG? I want to put trickle chargers on and cant find where they are located. One dealer told me behind the seat and under hood, another said there is only 1 battery to this car and another told me in the trunk and under the hood. If you can be specific as the the location it is greatly appreciated!

 

on my old r230, accessory battery in trunk next to spare tire. remove the trunk cover, should see it easily. could be under the trunk subfloor at the back of trunk. the start battery should be obvious when you open the hood but battery may be under a cover at the back passenger side of the engine compartment. not sure of newer r231 electrical systems. bet that 63 is sweet. I just pull the ground when storing and only the accessory battery if you have one and that it's easy to get at. there may be an accessory battery behind the passenger seat in the compartment. it's a small one.
