I was removing my 1987560 SL battery after putting it in storage and when doing so a secondary wire attached to the postive terminal clampbroke. The wire runs in parallel to the main positive wire and was attached to thebolt used to tighten the main wire to the positiveterminal. Any idea what this auxilary wire would be for? I am wondering if it might have something to do with the rear window defroster on the hard top?

In the spring when I retrieve the car will this impede my ability to start the car up?
