Hey all. So I have a 87 560 and a friend of mine just bought one that is very nice. It was fully restored from what I don't know....50000 miles so not a ton of wear and tear. In driving his as compared to mine, it feels like it's being held back. It's not sluggish and then a lunge, It is more like power is being lost somewhere between the engine and the wheels. I know the belts have nothing to do with the power, but as an example it feels like if you were trying to turn a belt its just not catching it like it's supposed to if that makes sense. This happens from the start and also when at speed and looking to accelerate. Mine feels more free and you feel like you are getting the power you are supposed to stepping on the gas. Everything appears normal with his engine; sounds great and idles nicely. Nothing out of the ordinary from my somewhat novice eye. . Everything that should be replaced is replaced. Any help is appreciated.
