I have a 1992 300SL with integrated OEM analog Telephone. The phone is no longer usefull, since everyone went digital, and I discontinued the service many years ago.

The phonewas designed to interrupts the radioif an incoming call was coming in. This interruption continues intermittantly (every few minutes)evenasthe phone is turned off. It is so annoying I have to turn the radio off and don't have effective use of the radio.

Is there some way of stopping this?

you can disconnect the phone just inside and underthe rear seat storage compartment.you will haveto remove compartment. take caredisconnecting the vacuum lines to the locks. follow the wire through. then remove the phone holder and give yourself some extra storage. hopefully thatwill solve the problem.
