Default 300 sl 24 misfiring


Hi
I needed help on 300sl-24 it has a 104 engine with the KE control system and ASR. The car has a low end miss and at high end hold back.
I removed the KE controller now the car drives better the only problem is hard starting in the morning. Which is due to the cold start system not working.
I have checked the firing down to the plugs everything is good.
On the fuel side I have replaced the pumps,filter,injectors,seals.
How do I get to read the diagnostic codes and what do they mean?
On the sensors what resistor readings should I get eg.air intake sensor,TPS?
Can you please give me a list of fault codes and a diagram of the ASR and engine wiring and block flow chart?
How do I make a code reader or is it the same the roof reader with the LED and a switch?
PLEASE HELP?????

the engine is running rich because you disconnect the control module. nothing controls the EHA now.

hi i have connected the ecu but dis-cornnected the fuel gonvener this is the same problem I have mailed to you. now Ihave read a few of the help pages and seen that you helped a few guys with fueling problems I need some help on a 300sl-24 how do i go about setting the fuel distrubutor back to factory setting.when I press the acc.pedal full in the car dies then starts to rev up. Some times when this happens there is is a back fireon the inlet manifoldOn idle the car is very rich and when I turn it lean the car drives pooly and dies on pull away and holds back on top end PLs help you can contact me on e-mail garethb@mtnloaded.co.za
