When on a slope with nose down hill, I put car into reverse and car rolls forward about 18 inches before reverse gear engages and car begins to back up. Aside from being disconcerting, I fear this means tranny is about ready to pop.

Is there a quick cheapo fix to this, or am I doomed? what is the fix?

Also - I am missing the accordion-like slide to the rear of the ashtray. there is some sort of storage tray there now that just seems to be a crumb catcher without the cover. where can I get a replacement?
