Doesanyone have suggestions for aftermarket keyless entry remotes and electronics for a 1994 500sl. The existing keyless system is limited with regard to range and at times, in my case, intermittent. I was going to replace the door sensors and while in the process of refinancing my home to pay for the work, someone suggested an after market system that attaches to the existing and makes same radio frequency based. The system increases range and is FAR less expensive. Any ideas? I have been pretty true in keeping my ride oem but.......Thanks for any input.

 

You won't have to refinance your house to pay for one if you go to Circuit City and get a "Valet". You can even get one for less than $200 installed that will start your car from a distance to pre-warm or pre-cool the car. I had a basic one installed in a Chrysler and was very satisfied. Pete
