How do I get to the Top Switch to replace it? I don't want to break the console, but can't see any way to get to it. The old switch was broken and fell through the console, so I can't even get to it. Please advise.

if your radio is original and if you have small slots on each side you will need a couple of tools that look like keys to remove radio. get the keys from a dealer. then reach up through the radio hole and push out the climate control unit. disconnect wires. lift up the storage compartment door and you will see a single phillips screw. remove screw and fold in the left and right inside panels of the storage compartment and remove compartment. remove trim around shifter. push down firmly on the back of the center console wood close to the tape storage and cigarette lighter area. while pushing down, push the wood to left and lift and do the same to right. there is a catch on each side of the center console wood.
