Is there a particular plug that works best on the 1974 450sl? Also I have never changed these plugs and I noticed a metal plug socket on the plug wires connecting to the plug. Do these just pull off like a regular plug wire?

 

yup just pull off the plug wire end not by the wire. be sure use bosch
