I opened the hood on the car in the normal fashion ( hood release in left inner kickwell to release the hood, followed by the hood latch in the MB star on the grill), the hood opened normally. In attempting to close the hood, it will close about 80% of the way, but now seems to be binding somewhere on the passenger side towards the firewall. I've checked both side hinges, springs, etc. and all appear normal. Any ideas? Is extremely frustrating. Hood opening arc did not appear to be any further than normal. Thanks for any suggestions.
