Default 1970 SL280 - Oil Look from Unknown Part

OIL LEAK* sorry for the typo

My grandfather and I are trying to locate the name and/or part for an oil leak coming from the passenger side of the engine block. There are two triangular looking pieces located right in the block (near the front of the engine) and we have a slow leak coming from underneath the rear of these two pieces. Any idea what this part is and if it's a gasket or o-ring style seal? Thanks!!

go to Auto Parts at AutohausAZ - OEM Auto Parts - Discount Replacement Parts, Resources and Car Care Tips. look in "engine parts, seals and gaskets" for a 1970 280sl merc and see if it's the engine side access cover plate and or gasket. cleaning up the old seal and using a good gasket or sealant in a tube with the old seal would probably be fine if it's not broken.
