Default Window malfunction 2000 S430

I've had this problem for a while now, but never addressed it since I don't use the windows too much. On occassion, when trying to bring up either front window, the window automatically stops and sometimes wants to go down. I have to keep pushing the button up until it eventually stops the "short" and goes up? It's kinda like trying to roll up your rear window when your kid is pushing the button at the same time to make it go down....only its happening on the front windows and unless I have a spiteful ghost in my car playing with the button, I can'tfigure it out.[&:]

Any thoughts?

does that happen when you are pressing auto-up or just manual up(one click or two clicks?)

i have similar problem, but mine only does it when i press auto-up. I think it can be either wiring or motors, because i replaced modules on doors and it still does it[:@]

it seems vovpar and I have similar kind of problem in our car, mine front left side window does this problem at times, but I think it is a safety feature. If anything blocks the way when the window is going up, it happens. Maybe the glass channel is dirty or jammed. Try cleaning the channels.
