a couple of questions for anyone who has experience with this:

its time to clean out the injection system on my 1984 500sel (5 liter v-8). i was thinking of taking off the fuel distributor and all the lines to the individual cylinders to clean them. if i do this, is there anything that will need to be re-adjusted when i put the distributor and the lines back on? i know that the cis system can get really complicated if you start to take everything apart, and they will rarely run right again if you dont have the right person put it back together. i dont want to make anything worse than it already is.

also, what would anyone recommend for a cleaning soloution to run through the lines while i have them off? its pretty bad in there, im sure the system has never been properly cleaned in this cars 22 years of existence.
