Hi all,

Please check out this car fax and tell me what you guys think. I'm a day away from buying, I just want some reassurance that I'm making the right decession. Also, I wanted to get the warrenty, butAUL doesn't cover suspension problems and they will only offer me 2yr/30000 coverage for 3700. I think that's a little steep for that short of coverage. What do you guys think about that? The car islisted for $19900, has 74000 miles, 2000 S500. Thanks guys.

looks for me that this car been through couple drivers and was constantly brought into the shop for suspension repairs

 

So I should stay clear? Thanks

 

i would stay away from that one, its been used for commercial and fleet, also spent too much time at the dealer for the same problem.
but the price is not bad.

 

i say, skip it and try to find a different one, as ARMENDS500 said, it's been a fleet vehicle and was used as a commercial vehicle etc.

 

My dad has an 06 mercedes E320 , but he wants to buy and 03 mercedes s500 with 88,000 miles , the car has a CARFAX report and its a one owner vehicle , the car looks like new .Should he buy the s550 ? is the s550 a reliable car ? is the maintenance on the s500 very expensive ? I have read a lot of bad reviews on the 03 mercedes s class , so i'm a little bit scared !! THANKS
