The remote does not work for the trunk , however i do hear a slight noise for a sec or two. when i press the trunk button.when having the trunk open by using the valet key ( inside button does not work either ) i can see that button lit up red. the keyless remote does un-lock and lock the doors , just wont work the trunk , any ideas?

 

i was hoping for a re-program function or simple part replacement

Using the key blade, make sure the trunk lid lock isn't in the valet position. I think valet position is the key tumbler in the horizontal position. try to pull the fuse for the central locking pump, under the right rear passenger seat floor area. its a 20 amp fuse but Im not sure which one off hand. Just pull some 20 amp fuses for a few seconds. This will reset your central locking pump.

yes , and for todays adventure i will be installing a new amp in the trunk , the factory one was m.i.a , so i purchased a small 200 watt amp , the only thing is now i have to somehow run rca cable's from the deck back to the trunk. if anyone has any pointers or advice , that would be cool.

also chassis i looked into this prob before , hoping it was locked , that key is so freaking hard to turn. i dont think its locked , i will re-check again today thank you.
