Default Transmission Questions for 1996 S320

I have a 1996 S320 mercedes with a 722.508 transmission and the parts seem to be hard to come by. Does anyone know if the parts on a 722.5 series are interchangeable 722.3, 722.4, 722.6? Also does anyone know where I can get reasonable parts for the 722.508 transmission? I am looking for a direct clutch drum (possibly K-1 drum, disc support), pistions (reverse speed), return springs & retainer for piston and drum, and a stator for the front pump.

Thanks

the parts are similar , the only difference of your tranny from the other series is the valve body and rebuilding kit. parts are generally available, which location are you at?

could you tell us what happen to your tranny why all these parts need to be replaced? did the reverse piston springs sprung out ? if yes this may be due to the thinning of the inner disc, the symptoms are usually delay in reverse engagement of the friction disc, that is the sign your tranny inner disc have already worn out and needs to be replaced before any parts gets destroyed, domino effect.
