s550 wipers and washers dont work

I have a 2007 S 550 that i need a troubleshooting chart for check out inop wipers

Make sure your hood switch is working correctly. If the hood is
open, the wipers wont work, also if the drivers door
is open the wipers wont work on some cars. Could be the combi switch also.
