s500 central locking

RE: s500 central locking
I think you are looking at two different issues, the locking pump controls the locks , gas door, lumbars, back up rods, and back up vacuum or the HVAC.
The close assist pump handles the soft close of the doors and trunk, fuse # 9 in the trunk hnales the soft close, there has to be another for the lock function. The big problem is that each of those pumps have safeties and pulling the fuse resets them, but if there is a problem it will come back. There is a good write up at least on the soft close

the locking pump does not fail as often and not much info available, the lock pump is under the passenger rear seat, the close pump is over the rear wheel drivers side.
