I have noticed that it only happens when i dont central lock the car

Assuming that you have confirmed that nothing like a boot light is staying on...anyway MB cuts the power to features such as the interior light, glove box light after about 10 mins to avoid flat batteries etc.

I therefore believe your problem is that....

The computer is not going into "deep sleep" and therefore continues to draw power. The level of this power drain is sufficient to flaten the battery in about 48 hrs.

The last time we went thru this the guy kept his keys in the ignition. This keeps the computer awake.

Maybe the sleep is only induced IF the car is locked and alarmed which I believe is only possible with the remote although USA vehicles are for some reason different to Euro. My vehicles actual auto lock if they are unlocked and nobody enters the car...but maybe this is also a Euro only feature.

If you know the battery goes flat if you don't lock the car..why don't you lock it!

It is what most people do for security reasons automatically.
