hi all i got a 2000 s 500 i know its got a one touch open sunroof but i have to hold the switch all the time ? is there a way to fix this?

 

Your sunroof isnt normalized......The sunroof button has two positions...A first click and a second click.....Press up on the switch to the first click and hold it.....as soon as the sunroof pops up, press further down to the second click and hold it for 3 seconds.....repeat those steps while pressing the switch back to open the sunroof...Its should work after that....Sorry if it doenst make sense....

 

i'm sorry i should have told you guys when i got the car the sunroof dint work i messed with the wires around the switch and i got the roof to work it opens and goes up fine but it will not open or close auto not even when i use the remote to shut the windows ? Bob says sunroof isnt normalized does this sound like whatit is?

 

i replaced my sunroof as well, all you have to do is normalize it. If your wires are all good, then it will work!

 

I just tryed it it still doen't work ? i opened it held the button but it still does not want to open by it self with the one touch ?????????

 

Disconnect the battery for a few minutes...and then try to re-normalize it again....

 

read your manual theres a way to sinconise it i had to doit after i disconected my battery
