Default One touch Mirror Down not working

C240 2002

The driver window one touch mirror down function has stopped working. I have to press the switch all the time until glass is up or down. Earlier I use to just press it hardly once and it used to either close completely oropen completely.

Also If I had all the windows of car opened and I switch on the A/C I used to press in inner flow only option harder once and all windows use to close. Now only drivers window is left open and all close.

I want to know how can I fix it ? Can I fix it myself if I just buy some fried part from autozone ....

Please help ... this is getting really irritated for me

Sounds like a possible problem with the dcm door control module in the driver door. It has to be programmed by the dealer. Did you try to re-syncronize the window by holding it all the way up for a few seconds? Most common is that the window switch unit fails, commonly the driver window due to the most usage.

Have you re-synced all the windows? Press the down switch and wait 4 seconds in the down position for each window and the sunroof.

On 203 chasis, the effective way to syncronize windows is in the up position, not the down as in the case of earlier 202 vehicles.
