Default which s

I am looking at a s class. around 95-97.. what kind of things should I be looking for?? trouble spots?? timing belts?? when do they recommend changing etc?? thanks

You will be looking at very expensive repair bills. Make the HVAC is working well, as most of the components are under the dash and you looking at 3K to R&R the dash and the cost of whatever is wrong. Oil change $150 at dealer, spark plugs are MB only availability, look for one that all the service records seens new, then you at least know how the car was maintained. A MB salesperson told me from 94 to 97 these models had a lot of electrical problems. You know that old latin saying let the buyer beware. Other than that these are wonderful cars, great highway cruisers and very comfy.

make sure you dont have the abs/asr light on ,due to the wire isolated cracking at the throttle idle control cable .the parts only cost you $1,300 .......
