Default Rotor Change Question

On My 04 S500 with 48000 miles, I will be changing the rotors and pads and need to know if you must remove the caliper bridge to remove front rotors or can they be removed just by removing the hex screw. I normally change my own pads but first time changing rotors. Any help will be appreciated.

a large hammer to bang off the rotor will help.
