Talking P0800 and P1170 with CEL

My 2007 S600 is the finest machine I have ever owned. But it is finicky. I only drive it a few miles a day and sometimes not at all for several days (I am a busy guy!!).

Today the CEL turns on. I check codes and get a P0800 and P1170. The web says run a can of Techron thru it and see if it goes away. Bought the big can. $13 at Advance Auto. Took it for a nice ride at 70 mph. Great car. Stopped for a cold drink. And the CEL stayed off on start-up.

Cheapest repair in the history of my S600. $13.

It may come back in a hundred miles or so, you have to reset the code.
