I have a noise coming from the trunk area of my s430 when the radio is on. When ever the radio, cd player, etc is on it sounds like someone is in my trunk trying to get out...it like a thud coming from the back area. I tried muting the radio and turning radio off and it immediately stops. Somedays it is worst than others. Sometimes it is noticable on the drivers side too. I know it will probably have to go to the shop but I wanted to know has anyone else experienced this noise. I have postponed paying this car off....because if it is a major problem I will be trading it in for something else. The car had 49000 on it and an extended warranty but I want an idea of what it can be from my Mercedes gods...thanks guys

Is it volume dependant, and if it is, does it decline when the bass is turned down?
