I got 01 S430 without CD Changer...At the dealership where i bought car they told me its OPTIONAL and its all pre-wired,i just need to get cd changer and thats it... First place i went to my MB Dealership Here in Chicagoland.They told its like $950.00 plus tax...(I told them >>>> NO) Then i went to Bestbuy,but they told me they can't put it,i need to get original one from MB Dealership////OK I allready bough one on ebay for $240.00...,but i dont see any wires in my trunk to install it....What should i do where i can go and arround how much installetion will cost..PLAESE HELP.THANK'U

 

This might be the perfect time to replace your CD changer with an ipod kit (DICE). You will retain all the features of the CD changer except that you will have a much, much greater selection. You may even be able to read the album,song title and other info from your nav screen. The price difference is not that much.

BTW I have been waiting for my CD changer to die but no such luck. I replaced my changer in M3 and it was one of the best upgrade ever.
