Hi all. I've owned a 300sd and a 420sel (blew the crank). I have an opportunity of buying a s600/ w140/1992 benz. This vehicle has a mechanics lien on it and is being offered at $4000 to pay for the work done. Any information on this type of car regarding problems other than the usual maintenance would be appreciate. Some people I have spoken to say go ahead and get it and some say obviously no because of the age and mileage. I figure if I can get at least 3 to 4 years out of it before incuring any major expenses/surprises it may be worth it I have listed the info I have from the mechanic of what work has been done on it and that started the lien issue. Took it out for a brief drive and it felt solid , no noises, has some cosmetic road nicks, strange burgundy brown colour, 295K KM
