Default Help Upgrading my 2000 S430

I recently purchased a 2000 MB S430 and I need some help upgrading my vehicle. First off, I would recommend this vehicle to anybody interested in purchasing an "S" class. Its a win/win purchase. I want to upgrade my head lights, tail lights, and even my navigation system to the new navigation that comes with the 2005 "S" class. I prefer purchasing OEM products for the lights. Does anybody have any suggestions where I can find a better deal besides the Dealers retail price? Also is it possible to purchase the navigation system from a 2005 "S" class and replacing mine with it? Will all my options function? If not what can be done? Please advise me.

navigation for 2005 S-Class is not plug and play.

it is integrated on wiring harness and get many signals such as: wheel speed, steering angle, antenna, gps, MOST, etc.

You can upgrade your headlights to bi xenons, but do keep in mind that connectors have to be modified - and you may have to reprogram your car through Stardiagnose to xenons = present if you currently have halogen headlights.

It is also possible to get newer taillights, but again, some minor modifications are required to make them fit to your W220.

Retrofitting a DVD comand is something you better forget about... Your car is D2B wired, whereas the DVD comands use MOST. Sleepwalker is right about it not being plug and play... not to mention the fact that it will cost you an arm and a leg.

greetingz,
