Ok so i have a friend that i work with and he says his little 170hp lancer can beat my straight six 3.2L Mercedes..

I sort of laughed, and i realized, he was talking about 1/4 mile... i said his car cant keep up with my mercedes at the topspeed

and he walked off before i can finish, id like to hear it from someone else, about this, Who would win?

I would'nt be so sure of yourself. The car is cheaply made, but they are neck snapping fast and even at the hight end of the speedo, can still accelerate well. My son has a EVO and it's fast. The evo would probably run out of steam around 80mph and then you would have a clear advantage, as most Mercedes, even my V6 C280 would.
