My 2010 S550 has an intermittent front left turn signal issue. I've decided to just replace the led light strip but it appears that the entire headlight assembly which includes the led turn signals is the only solution. At $1240 for the assembly, this seems beyond unreasonable for just fixing a turn signal lamp. Does anyone have a different solution? The labor alone will be a couple hundred as the front bumper needs to come off just to access the headlight!

This is just unacceptable for a car company to do this.
