Hello Benz Enthusiasts.
It has been a while since I've posted. I trust all is well with you all? I am the proud owner of a '97 S420. It has approx 193K and some change on the clock. It's been great to drive and has been wonderful, barring a few here and there's as it pertains to routine issues. But now I have an OBDII reading which states that my cylinders are misfiring intermittently and cylinder misfire at cylinder number 4.
I would appreciate your help to narrow the scope of repair or replacement. Thanx in advance for your assistance. I posted this same issue in the Tech Forum by mistake, no pun intended.

Sorry for taking so long to respond to your advice. Thank you for the direction. As it turns out, it was in fact the ignition coil. It may not have needed to be replaced, but I did anyways. When I pulled the rubber boot off of it, there was moisture inside. I suspect that this was the cause, which was in line with your direction. Thanks for the advice, it definitely fixed the problem I was experiencing.
