What is the toggle switch for in the frint inside center cosule box in my 2001 S500? It was not explained at delivery and my friend with a 2005 S430 doesn't know either. Thanks!

I have those too, but this is inside the larger bin on the fron wall and is a larger toggle-type switch.

called the dealer. It is the A/C vent switch for the center console. you can apperently regulate the temperature in their. :-) The guy at the dealer had to locate a car on the lot and look into it. He didn't know either. Thanks!

 

i checked my center console, i have it too, now why do we need a/c in the
center console? lol
