Default Diesel Smell - Wet Injector Return Lines

1983 300SD - 200k

Just started running car again - Has not been driven in 3 years. Been parked outside in CA for 3 years. And yes it gets to 108f where I am.

Did some basic mantenience and.....
drove yesterday for about 20 minutes and noticed a diesel smell - looked at engine and noticed that ALL Injector return fuel lines are soaking wet..... even the little one all the way on the right side with the plug is wet....
(these are the lines 4-5 lines that are made of rubber and cloth covered).....

All the injectors look wet on the bottom where the threads go into the engine and also look wet right in the middle of the injector.....

I took a towel, dried all cloth lines, injectors and let the car sit overnight.

Just looked at it today and all the lines, and injectors are wet again!!!

I did replace these lines in 2002 with new ones from the dealer....
but I am not sure if its the injector leaking getting the cloth wet or the actual lines leaking????
I find it strange that all the lines got wet again after I dried them - (let it sit overnight and did not drive it).... Could the fuel from a leaky injector go up and get the cloth wet?

Cannot tell where the leakeage is from.......

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks, techno
