$40 bucks at Autozone. Takes 5 mins to replace.

but make sure it's a good reliable proper one as sometimes autozone sells, generic and or universal parts that made not be up to snuff in the quality department. Usually with small parts like that they can get for good price but sometimes you have to ask for the proper one or they will just order the first one that pops up depending on the knowledge of MBZ the person at the counter has, which I have found to be near zero and not much on cars overall.

But real easy thing to replace, which is surprising and good since the trouble that bugger will cause when bad.

Thanks I got MB sensor and a shop to do the work $350 total.

Default 1995 S420 Crank shaft sensor ?

After short drives it sometimes wouldn't start for 30-45 mins. decided it must be the CPS. I pulled it around in to the driveway to fix it and it ran very rough with some clanging and knocking going on. I changed the sensor but now it just turns over with no fire. HELP !!!
