Default Clear Headlight Assembly for 2002?

I'm sure this has been posted somewhere, but being a "newbie" to this forum, I am looking to upgrade my 2002 S430's "cloudy" looking headlight assemblies with the clear looking assemblies seen on the newer models. Can this be done? What is the cost? Where to purchase? Thanks in advance everyone.

Are they cloudy due to not cleaning them? Or polishing the plastic there made of? Go to your local Pep boys or any auto parts store and get some Mcguires clear plastic cleaner, and clean the lenses, There are a couple of products for this. Auto zone offer a kit with polish a buffer for a drill and cloths and instructions. this worked weel on my daughters 01 Neon which already had clear lenses, but had yellow over time, as she is not a car cleaning person, to her a car is just transportation???? Had for thid old man of hers to accept that a car is just transportation. But try this. You might have a hard time just buying the lenses and they might not fit, and the assemblies will cost thousand of $$ not counting the install and rewireing.

No not dirty, just the design. I'm looking for the clear lenses as opposed to the factory '02 lenses that have the lines in the lenses.

Changing the lens might not improve anything, what if the reflector pattern changed also. I bought some crystal clear, froont turn signals for my car, bright as anything, but the reflector patter is highly polished and there are extra mirror type reflectors inside the housing. go to www.myroadster.net and click on Mercedes benz.

Thanks. I checked there and they didn't have anything. I'm assuming that the reflector pattern from a 2003 or 2004 or 2005 should be fine. I just like the look of the clear lenses that are on the newer models.

you want something like this, no?
they are OEM bi-xenons and i can get them for you.
or DEPO also makes one with Philips HID kit for about half price.

That looks right. I don't know that I need to upgrade to Xenon though. Isn't that quite expensive? What about wiring and computer compatibility?

Depo makes clear halogen kits for C and E classes only.
As far as I know, you will need to make xenon upgrade.
It's pretty much plug & play and need to set xenon PRESENT at the dealer after the installation.
It is pricey, but aren't you driving S-Class?

What is the cost?

P.S. Just because I'm driving a nice car doesn't mean that I like to spend foolishly.
